Why SpeakMany exists
Most events with an international audience simply do not translate. Interpretation is expensive and hard to scale past two or three languages, and cloud captioning means sending your speakers to somebody else's servers by the minute.
What we do
We bring a machine to your venue, plug it into your sound desk, and put
captions on the room's screens and on every phone in the audience. Each
person reads the language they chose. Afterwards you get the transcript.
There is nothing for your team to install and nothing to maintain between
events. You book us, we turn up, we run it.
The decision that shapes everything
Every model runs on the machine in the room. That is harder than calling
an API, and it is the reason the service can work in a venue with no
internet, why there is no per-minute meter, and why we can tell a legal or
government client honestly that the audio never leaves the building.
What we will tell you plainly
Audio quality decides everything
A clean feed from the sound desk matters more than any other choice.
We will say so, repeatedly, before your event.
Spoken translation is narrower
Captions cover far more languages than synthetic voice does. We will
not let you find that out on the day.
Some languages work better than others
That is true of every system in this category. We would rather test
yours in advance than have you discover it live.
It is not an interpreter
Where a misunderstanding is expensive, hire one. We will tell you when
we think that is the right call.
Working with us
Tell us the room, the audience and the languages. We plan it with you,
prepare a glossary of the names and terms that matter, set up with your AV
crew, and run the session on the day.
Make your next event understood.
Tell us about the room, the audience and the languages. We do the rest.
