Why this configuration exists

All processing happens on equipment in the room. No audio is uploaded, no third party holds a copy, and the system works with the venue's internet disconnected. Where caption text also cannot leave the building, we run without the relay and attendees read on the local network or the screens.

Records

A transcript in every language that ran, handed over afterwards, which is frequently a requirement rather than a convenience.
