Live translation
One speaker, many languages, in the room and on every phone.
Someone speaks. Within a couple of seconds their words appear as captions
in every language your audience asked for, on the screens either side of the
presentation, and on any phone that scanned the code.
How it behaves in a room
- Only what is needed runs. A language is produced while
somebody is reading it, so a menu of two hundred costs nothing until
somebody chooses one.
- Speakers can switch language. The system follows,
after two consistent readings, so one odd-sounding phrase does not throw
the room into the wrong language. The operator can also lock it.
- Captions settle rather than flicker. Provisional text
is shown dimmed and turns solid once it will not change again.
What it needs
A clean feed from your sound desk. That single choice matters more than
anything else on this page.
